Why should I complete the KYC process?

To create a safe and fair environment for all users, it is important for Yumi to implement KYC procedures. By doing so, Yumi can minimize users' risks and safeguard the buying and selling environment. KYC is particularly important for complying with regulatory laws, preventing fraud, detecting and preventing money laundering and terrorist financing, and building trust with users.

How should I prepare for KYC?

You will need government-issued identification, for example, a passport or driver’s license, and a cell phone with a valid number that is accessible to you to receive SMS. You will also need a mobile or desktop computer and bandwidth to download the App as part of the verification process. We recommend using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Safari, as browsers for a smooth experience.

What are the levels of KYC? What information do I need to provide?

Currently, Yumi requests users to carry out a minimum Tier 1 KYC before trading any asset or product from the marketplace. Below is the information you will need to provide to Yumi.

• Phone number

• Birth date

• Email

Once you submit the above form, it requires 1 to 2 business days before approval.
